I'm the odd woman out at this point... I chose the road less traveled and because of it I am living a life I love! These animals mean everything to me... they inspire me and teach me how to live with abandon!
It's been a long path here. I can give you a little bit about my professional background first.
I grew up in Rotterdam, NY. Went to college at RPI (Renssealer Polytechnic Insitute) in Troy, NY where I graduated with dual degrees in Information Technology and Management/Finance (specifically Investments and Economics). Let's just say I tried to get the most out of my education.
Prior to and during college I worked for the NYISO and GE Power Systems dealing with IT related problems/website design. After graduating from RPI in 2003, I joined a boutique brokerage firm, CL & King and Associates, based in Albany, NY. After working there for a year, we moved to Ohio to be closer to Rob's family. Sage joined us not too long after that and the rest is now history!
At this point I find my interests leaning towards animal medicine/nutrition (big surprise there), with a strong interest still in the stock market. In my free time my best friend Jill and I try to go riding as often as possible... which sometimes is too few and far between.
I feel truly blessed to be living the life I do; it has not been an easy path and in some cases I have had to learn some hard lessons. What's the saying, whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger... well I'm still here. And I am so lucky to be surronded by people and creatures who love me as dearly as I love them. We have been through thick and thin together.... thank you for standing by me. Those of you I write this for, I love you.
